Hi how do you turn off the goremod clientside? It lags my vid card for some reason, and the server I like to play on has this mod. Anyway to turn it off clientside?

No not currently, it was in the plans but im not sure now. Ill get back to you tomorrow.

Actually, I just set my HL2 window's priority to high and the lag has dissapeared. Nice mod I guess, I would use it for my server but I wanna keep it sinple for CAL.

Nice programing skills tho, those I can always admire :

You can turn off the big splatter effects (which is where most of the lag comes from) by removing the violence setting. Type violence in console and change all the violence commands to 0, like violence_hblood 0 or something.
