Post subject: Help needed getting hostitron working.

Hi.
I have downloaded, and followed the instructions for hostitron, installed Metamod correctly so I get a menu when typing meta in the console, uploaded all the hostitron files in the correct place, and bzip'd them and placed them on my redirect as well.
I have added exec hostitron/config.cfg to my server.cfg (is this correct?)
But no hostage models get loaded up and hosti_addhostage does nothing.
Have I got something wrong?

After no reply, i tried fault finding myself - i tried following the instructions (in french!) here http://www.c0ld.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=34
this led me to believe that i should have a file called metaplugins.ini in my metamod folder - which i hadn't.
I created one and adding the code "addons/hostitron/bin/hostitron_mm_i486.so"
Now whenever I change to map to one that has hostiges, the server crashes.
Can anyone help before i give up on this mod.

The plugin hasnt worked in a while.
I had a hard drive crash so lost the source, and an update broke it a while back.
Im working on a new version. No official release date. |
