Alright, so Moo and I are redoing all the maps we can with 64 slots.

Please vote if you want 64 spawn maps

i wont need them i just use mani extra spawn points mod for them lol
plus u should ask the mappers first

32 is a good thing for playing lagg free

I am not that good with the mani spawn points. This poll is actually asking mappers if they want 64 spawns or not.

but it seems uselesse with 64 spawn points unless the map is very big ^_^ and servers keep filled up

the server i frequently play in (zombiex2 thailand sever) has 40 player slots and sometimes its abit laggy already..(my nick is what? 123 in there)

so i think there is totally no need for 64 spawn points unless there are servers with 64 slots :shock:

I would appreciate 64 spawns. Completely winging things here, but: 66.197.42.22:27015

Do I think there will ever be a lag free map when full? Doubtful. Most likely going to see how default maps do when near full with some major performance tweaks. It's nice having access to the srcds.exe as well.

There would be if mappers actually took the time to create a map how its supposed to be.
Any idot can draw some shapes and drag some prefabs onto a drawing surface. The reason I never created a map is because to create a proper map, you need to really go into the minute details of how every surface inside the map comes into contact and how. Our mappers dont do that, instead they crank out lag-o-tron maps 20 per week.

Amen. There's two mappers in the pf community that edit zombie mod maps, as well as other misc maps on FPSBanana and optimize them to run well no matter how many players. It can be a long process - but the outcome is well worth it.

If the server is tweaked right on a default map ZM can do 64.
