Myself and the users of my ZombieMod server have been hit with Hl2.exe after Hl2.exe error over the last day or two. This does this on my ZombieMod server and on CSSMC's 2nd zombemod server. I don't know about their first, it's always full and i get redirected. I do not get the errors on normal servers without zombiemod..

What do I do? I don't want to uninstall zombiemod it's too fun. Conflicts with steam somehow?

Well it's become a major issue for me and a great percentage of the ppl using my server. Was seeing 20-30 ppl now I'm down to 5-10..

Not good.

We seriously need to expand this mod more, the zombie horde crap jsut sucks nads in comparison.

Its like Zombie Mod is AMD and Zombie Horde is Intel. Despite the popularity and advertising Zombie Mod will always rein supreme. Also like PC versus Mac, so many viruses for PC because people actually use it.

I have no problems at all with the server. I have the latest Meta, Mani, and ZombieMod installed on the Lunix server.

I have these installed:

Mani Admin Plugin v1.2BetaN
MetaMod:Source v1.2.1
v1.0.0.28 (Linux, Dedicated)

I have no control over the Linux version. Can you tell me what meta source/mani versions you are running?

ok, got In there for the first time today... now I was crashing after everyround In only 1 server.

66.199.229.202:27015

It was the statsminimum plugin, even after I disabled the plugin, the smm_cvar's were still being run from server.cfg, soon as I commented those out I had no crashes. Plz let me know what server you crash on "client crash" If Its still happening I want to "rule" things out.

Because ZM is server side only, it doesnt do anything it shouldn't with the client.
This leaves either maps or models as the cause o.O

Clients on my server are having mass time outs since updating from 1.1.0 to 1.1.3 . It must be a zombie mod issue.

Ive seen a server running 1.0.1 and It has the same problem. It doesnt seem likely that more then 1 version has this problem, Id bet on a mani cvar thats enabled doing It.... zombiemod should have no effect on clients crashing.

In fact I just noticed that 1 of my servers Is running 1.1.2 and the other server Is running 1.1.0 and they are both having this Issue.... Can someone with a server not having this Issue please p.m. me... I want some Info on what plugins your using If this Is a windows and linux problem or just 1 of them, also want a cvarlist to check against my servers to see whats happening.

Updated to mani and zombie to current, still the crashes persist. but I have found a post about It In the Steam forums.

Ok, so I was installing zombie mod on my server and testing it out. It kept locking up for me, and when it did, it spammed the console with something about svc_sounds. Anyone have any information on what this is, or how to deal with it.

Edit*

Some more information. I pulled Beetlesmod off of the server, and now have just zombiemod installed. It seems like it locks up when someone connects. Not a specific person, but a random one at a random time. All is says in the console is that the players timed out. Is there any way to find a more detailed analysis?

Thanks.
