Is there a way to use multiple zombie ambience, so that i can select which one i want to use on a map :?: (by using mapname.cfg and put the ambience i want to use there)

And if it's al coded perhaps people can define a few ambience sounds just als long as they have the correct name like:

zombie_ambience1
zombie_ambience2

etc till a certain maximum amount.

Yes i know that's the correct line but is it possible to use different ambient sounds for different maps ?
If not perhaps a good idea for the next release ;)

i think he has made this so...

so for de_dust

use:
de_dust.cfg
zombie_undead_sound "ambient/zombiemod/mysound1.mp3"

so for de_dust2

use:
de_dust2.cfg
zombie_undead_sound "ambient/zombiemod/mysound2.mp3"

and so on...

godamm i must be doing something wrong

zm_office_outbreak.cfg

in there i got:

// The sound to play to players, is precached and added to the client download list automatically.
zombie_undead_sound "ambient/zombiemod/Nightmare_On_Elm_Street.mp3"

Iuploaded the mp3 to my server and the redirect-space.

I restarted the map by (changemap to zm_office_outbreak)

Notting happens i'm not downloading it from the server.

i tested if the sound format was correct i heared the sound when i started a lan server and type this in console: play ambient/zombiemod/nightmare_on_elm_street.mp3

saucehelmet said a time back to me that he has seen issues with stereo, so try saving as mono and also, up it to 112kbps

He said he can hear it if he plays it, it may be that the sound is being loaded before the map loads so the cvar isnt checked in time, ill look into it.

The Stereo ordeal works, I don't know what was wrong before.

Right now I use 112kbs, Stereo, I think before I rendered it as 5.1 Stereo - Not sure why that wouldn't work either, but I noticed that 5.1 was the default in the program, I've changed that since.

Also, could you try to put the mp3 itself in a download config? Such as the downloads.txt for mani or download.cfg for ZM?
