u know the mat_wireframe command?

well this is a bug in all servers

with a memory editor u can find the offset/address of sv_cheats and activate it to client only

then u can use "cheat" commands like mat_wireframe and see throw walls and stuff

mat_wireframe is a valve command

some hope at last fellas!


This guy is being "co-operative" with me after i mentioned a few things 2 him..

he said that if i use this script with matties event script it will not allow them to use the bug as easily apparently.

Since i have no idea about it, can someone check it and see if this is correct or just BS.
Looks simple enough but rather show it 2 u guys 2 check out.

Remove the noclip line, otherwise anyone using !zstuck will get perma banned lol, it uses that command on clients but circumvents the requirment of sv_cheats being enabled.

Other than that it looks in order, but are you sure a perm ban isn't a little harsh?

aight no clip line will go.

I have little time for ppl who dont go by the rules, cheating/hacking is just totally unacceptable to me, so they have to go if they try 2 get one over the other fairly playing guys.


All i gotta do now is completly re-install everything since its shagged i believe, figure out how the hell to use the new clients.txt in mani mod and install matties scripts.. ahh what fun i have in my evenings :(

Anyway hope this will work, and we can get back to normallity, pls do put up a proper fix when you get the time m8, im sure everyone will appreciate it :) and ill still put something into the donation box :)

I think this has bought the Zombie community together, fighting a common enemy n all :twisted:

In my opinion, hackers are scum, but this leads us onto the discussion about wether or not what is currently being exploited is actually a hack.

I personally think a one day ban is sufficient for the headache they have caused, it was fun for them they laughed - you laughed and everything was ok. No harm was done, they probably just read it somewhere and that was that.

People using aim bots for the duration of their online gaming on the other hand really need a harsh punishment, they cause distress and make other players not want to play anymore.

Can you see my point here?

Its not a hack they are exploiting rather a bug in the code, its like in cs 1.6, i have deathmatch and super hero mod, u can set yourself as spec and really gain XP super fast, but only as a spec, so i made the rule u cant go into spec, as its abusing a bug in the hero/DM plugins, i put abusers in the same plate as hackers, they know its a bug, and they want to exploit it for their own benifit.

A zero tolerance policy also works as a deterrance, for example in panic, on my server u cant hide in the tunnel or behind the white tanks cos a zombie just cant get in there, sometimes when my admins catch them in there, they teleport them out and this happens all map, i will go on, and ban 1/2 people not following the rules, and not have anyone else do it for the rest of the time i am there.

I see your point, but when the server is crashing, ppl are msn'ing me why is ure server down, i am getting burnt, do something, i was not laughing! hope that kid gets chickenpox or something man, he deserves it!

Just want everyone to play fair and be nice 2 each other :?


maybe ill change it to a week ban if i have calm down sufficiently by the time i implement this.

A perma ban is absolutley in order. Spinner and I had to spend an hour or so of my time yesterday trying to find out what cock it was that was doing all the teleporting/flamming over and over. He crashed our server twice. We had people leaving, saying "Screw CSSMC clan, they abuse their admin way too much".

You're in the business of making the plugins (Which we all appreciate SO MUCH! :D), but its CSSMC's job to make sure that people actually populate the server. If I was pubbing in a zombie server and somebody teleported all the players, burned them, etc, I would leave in a heart beat. THose people are willingly trying to make it unenjoyable for my players, so therefore if they decide to take this course of action then you can be damn we'll sure they're getting permbanned from my server! I dont need people trying to muck up CSSMC's zombie server.

To secure your ban lists, on windows based servers set your permissions to read only on the ban list, in linux set the file permission to 0544

You wont be able to write anymore bans to file but hopefully that will slow them down of unbanning themselves.

I dont know about everyone else, but my clan doesnt have 4, 1u servers for hackers to ruin the fun. *proceeding to add ips to firewall*

I asked my nooby hosts to ban the IP's via their firewall, and the only response i got was ban them in your banned_ip file, i said it gets wiped when they do it, they said ban their steam id then!

not the smartest of ppl my hosts, thankfully this also means they dont charge as much as others have done..

Kizz, i know where you are coming from and I wasnt trying to suggest a course of action more an offering of thought.

My PC is still in the same place as is depicted in this map I made using Google Maps API (it rocks!) so I won't get a chance to fix it till this weekend =(

Aren't scum,( Althought some are ). Shouldn't call us scum because of one or two other people. WE GAIN knowledge through our abilities... :?

Yeah c0ld, on a second reading of my post it seems I might have given a somewhat caustic impression, I didn't mean it that way lol. I know where you're coming from, but like others have said, these exploiters have no place in our zombiemod!!! :D

i think so thats this exploit only happens on US servers ...
on my servers i never watch it until now
