Regenerating Zombie Health?

Post by dr.karate »

Just a small suggestion, can you make it so zombies can regenerate like 1hp per second? The reason I'm suggesting this is because usually after I zombify group of people, I have to absorb a whole bunch of damage in the process. Thus when I find another group I want to zombify, it only takes a couple shots to take me down. If the zombie health regenerated just a little bit people would have a better chance at zombifying groups of people in tough camping spots.

But as it stands, Zombies win most of the time anyway :\

I'm considering raising knock back 1-2 points and removing 400-600 health from Zombies. Humans never, ever win on a populated server if more than 2-3 people get infected it's almost 100% that the Zombies will take over.

Unless the map has powerful holding spots, or impossible camping spots, I find the only way to make balanced play is to make holding spots; positions that are hard to reach when being gunned down. Difference between an impossible camping spot is there's generally more than one way to get to the holding spot, so you don't have an entire team focusing firepower unto one designated area. Also lila likes to incorperate barricades into the equation, which are a good alternative to camping spots. Of course chances are someone on your team will more than likely destroy your barricade before the zombie does, just like on the projects map I've been working on--humans tend to kill themselves more from falling off the steel skeleton than from zombification.
