Post subject: Meta Mod not working

Hello, i downloaded the metamod, did everything correctly.
But my problem is this, when i launch the game, steam corrects the gameinfo.txt and it does not work...
Is there a way i can play this plugin ? Can that be fixed ? How?

| simple, use ur ftp program after altering gametext then remove all the global edit flags on the file, if its a linus server that is |

Okay i forgot to say.
My server is a windows listen server...Like a lan server with sv_lan 0
I just want to use it with some mates, and i dont have any ftp program and i dont see why i would need it cause its just for my litle WINDOWS server :P
