Post subject: Install problem, Lunix rented game server....

is this not compatible with mani admin or something??
every time add it to the mani list it kills the server 2 seconds after it start
I reboot with no mani on meta list... reboots... if I go to cs_ map it kills the server... any idea???

Ok, windows or linux ?
If linux, do you have SSH (putty) access ? Like, are you able to run the server yourself ? |

grar damn site didn't email me there was a reply.
it's a linux server and no I do not have shell access would you like me to add somethign to the command line I can request it I'm waiting for access tot he debug logs right now I think that might help you right.
the server runs for maybe 3 seconds and reboots when I have mani and hosti running and then if mani is off it dies when it goes to a CS_ map

It would have been great if you could run srcds in gdb with a version which has debug symbols in it =( |

when I get debug logs set up I will add the program again and let it crash a few tiems over and give you logs see if that helps.

well the new update worked the same way for me if I run nothing BUT the hositron mod the server reboots fine once I change map to a CS_ maps it reboots the server.
why would such a grat plug in not freakign on my damn server GRRRR

I was able to speak to a higher int he chain rep on my hosting company...
it was the silly bots.
DO NOT RUN BOTS on your server EVER and this pluging will run smooth.

i use them under windows with hostitron that works without problem
as you said : once I change map to a CS_ maps it reboots the server.
i believe you were having files of models missing . you could have use :
hosti_models 0 in the config.cfg to see it ;[ .
your game_hoster told you : it was the silly bots. i am affraid to tell you that bots are not loved by game_hoster because they use CPU 24h a day [electricity is not free ] . i think you should try again to had bots now your hostitron is well runing .
i shall test it too to see if i have the same as you ;] |
