Post subject: gore_remove_ragdoll 0 still removes ragdoll.

i cvar gore_remove_ragdoll 0 in my server.cfg as well as in a goreset.cfg
but it still gets removed.
Any info on this? I gotta see my ragdolls fly! what can we do, brother?

we love seeing the ragdolls fly. why are they removed
if i have the gore_remove_ragdoll 0 there?
i even put
gore_remove_ragdoll 0
right in my server.cfg
as well as in the goreset.cfg
that i
exec goreset.cfg
in my server.cfg

and the blood all over the ground is freakin awesome
(although from a tactical standpoint making the decals clear for
the next round would enable people to be hunted by their blood
trails and that would be leet)
maybe a gore_reset_blooddecals 1/0 ? |

Disable it there and it should work.
You need to hit 8. Save Changes to apply indefinately. |

roger - almost got stuck but then realized i needed " " for the STEAM#
(it already had remove_ragdoll @ 0 but i toggled it and re-saved it)

no it didnt, sorry to report... -- took me awhile to see a couple of nade kills to notice.
i run statsme and now mani_mod also thru meta_mod...
and i was running mani thru valve (vers betaG and 1.1zh)
also i use mattie's eventscripts (for counterbet, bountymod,
connectsounds, and lastmanstanding)
and matties knifesyphon
i also have PTBx teambalance running and CEVO cvar authorization
oh, and its a steambans.com server
( a lot of plugins i know !!! ) lol
...just so u know my set-up. i dont know if theres any plugin interference
...

ps- everyone LOVES the gore of course BUT especially the way you
can seem to 'kick' the skull if you happen to run into it as it falls. That
is the best, i swear, mate!!! Its SO funny when you 'kick' a skull up
onto a ledge or onto the counter in cs_office. Good Stuff! |

Just realised something here.
You want the ragdoll to stay for hs's and not nades right ?
gore_remove_ragdoll is for nade kills.
gore_hs_doll is for hs's.
Maybe im onto something here |

no the other white meat. haha
i WANT all the ragdolls. seeing a nade make a dude fly through the air is still the best thing about source over 1.6.
your gibs and blood make the game o so juicy but i never wanted to sacrifice the ragdolling. i want to keep them all and especially the naded ones!
so yea, i cant get the remove on nade cvar to zero out either through configs or the menu (cfgs are better in that i can call 0s in my match.cfgs and 1's in my pub setups)
so getting the gore_plugin to leave the naded ragdolls in the game seems to be an issue on my linux dedicated. the HS ragdolls DO stay however so that part is a-ok.

ps- i dropped the blooddrip timer to 3seconds and raised the bleeders hp setting to 30something so theres always blood all over the place for us.
its bloody, buddy! muhuhhahahaha
